Better Barrel Races is honored to be the official sanctioning body of THE AMERICAN RODEO CONTENDER TOURNAMENT. Join us at an American Rodeo Contender Tournament Event to earn your way to The American Rodeo and your chance to compete at the richest single-day event in all of western sports. The American boasts an unmatched total purse of more than $2 million, which includes a $100,000 check for the individual winners of each discipline and a $1 Million Bonus pot.
Books for each event will open approximately one (1) week prior to the event entry deadline and will close at 5pm Central on Monday prior to the event. The American will carry over to the main race so you must enter the main race at the same time as you enter The American.
